As a Vineyard pastor, I've always believed that the Kingdom-based
healing ministry of Jesus is for us today. Over the last six years,
we've tried various ways to develop & maintain healing ministry
teams at our church, yet nothing has really seemed to have the
long-term impact we've desired to see. In mid May, 2004 we invited Derk
& Priscilla to come to Cedar Rapids for three evening sessions on
LEARNING TO MINISTER LIKE JESUS.
Derk brought a wonderfully-relaxed, yet powerfully-done teaching series
that encouraged our people to become actively involved with Jesus
healing ministry. The clinic time was full of God’s power and
impartation. Since Derk’s visit, we’ve reinstated healing ministry
teams into our Sunday AM worship services and we’re seeing fantastic
results. To me, it’s a win-win situation. People are receiving healing
prayer and our church members are starting to actually believe that
they can do Jesus’ stuff. It’s all naturally supernatural! We’re so
excited, we’ve invited Derk & Priscilla back to Cedar Rapids this
fall.
