To Whom It May Concern:

I want to personally endorse the ministry of Word and Works led by Derk and Priscilla Stevenson. At a time when the Heartland Vineyard Church needed a boost in learning to minister like Jesus, I invited Derk and Priscilla to hold a training seminar. Derk and Priscilla had been friends of ours for many years and so I knew Derk would come in with one agenda; to equip and mobilize God’s people into Kingdom service.

Derk taught from a wealth of experience he has had in ministry as a pastor but more importantly, as a Christian desiring to see God’s healing power move in the lives of people.
Derk’s style of teaching is enjoyable as he mixes humor, illustrations and scripture in a way that anyone can relate. Derk also teaches in a way that is encouraging and inspirational. He very humbly acknowledges that it is not him but the Lord Jesus who heals. Therefore, Derk modeled the idea that God will use anyone who is willing to be used to further the Kingdom. Our people were not only equipped but left with the sense of being mobilized for ministry.
Following Derk’s teaching, there was opportunity for personal ministry and the activation of ministry into the lives of those attending. We had a wonderful time of praying for and ministering to each other. Everyone got involved. The Holy Spirit moved among us and as a result, many people were touched personally by the Lord and went out into their neighborhoods, workplaces and schools better ready to not only proclaim but demonstrate the love of God the Father.
As a pastor who is always looking for ways to effectively mobilize my church into Kingdom ministry, I would without reservation recommend Derk and Priscilla Stevenson to you. I believe that any experience you have with Word and Works Ministry will have a very positive outcome.

Sincerely yours in Christ,
Dan Paxton
